The Christmas train has firmly left the station and as we hurtle towards the big day we thought we’d offer a little insight into the toys our Baby Matters consultants rate the most for christmas 2017
Sarah Carpenter is first up recommending Magic Sand. It’s great for fine motor and sensory play and the fun is endless. Ideal from approx 12 months of age (depending on your little one and how much their likely to want to put in their mouths!)
Tanya Frater loves playdoh as a good all rounder with plenty of different sets available to capture your little ones imagination. A particular favorite in her house is this kitchen. Happy baking!
Janie Kennedy rates Magnatiles as a great option if you have different age groups at home. They are great for problem solving and you can get really creative with your building.
Hollie Hodge recommends Sylvanian Families. “I love that there’s no noise and so the children get to use their imagination fully when they play”
This cute little table top Piano from Melissa and Doug is my top pick this year. My eldest son loves to sing and dance and with this lovely bright piano he can learn all about high and low notes, as well as loud and soft. Great for sensory play!
Whatever you chose for your little one this year we hope you have a lovely festive period and we wish you a very Merry Christmas from everyone on the Baby Matters team X
