What is a Maternity Nurse?

A Maternity Nurse is someone who can come into your home before or after your baby arrives from one hour to several hours, overnight or through the day to answer the millions of questions you as a parent will have, we offer support to enable you more time to enjoy the experience and leave you feeling more confident and well equipped to face the daily challenges.

When should I book a Maternity Nurse?

You can get in touch at any point you feel comfortable throughout your pregnancy, some people like to be organised and get in touch early on others leave it till a bit further through, there is no right time, we do take bookings quite far in advance so when your ready get in touch.

My baby has arrived and I haven’t booked?

Don’t worry we will work with you to meet your needs we never leave parents who have sought our help without a suitable solution.

My baby won’t sleep?

Call us we can come in and give you overnight relief and work with you to come up with a plan suited to you and your baby, when parents and babies needs are met everyone is happier and more settled.

Is my baby getting enough food?

This is one of the many questions we hear regularly in our jobs book a consultation so we can come help you work it out whatever feeding method you have chosen.

Im tired how can you help?

We can come to your home for one night or several and give you in the in house tailor made relief you need whilst working with you and baby to establish good habits which result in a more settled baby.

Why should I book Baby Matters and not just read books?

There are so many different books on the market offering such conflicting advice it can become stressful and confusing for parents reading them, we offer advice based on you and your babies individual needs because we are working directly with you we can adapt and change our advice to suit your individual babies we know better than anyone that no two babies are the same.
